Shenayda started studying Astrology at the tender age of 19. At the age of 28, she met her teacher, Dr. Robert Gibson, and began her lifelong work. After attending his Mystery School, Shenayda emerged as a Shaman and began to teach various subjects included astrology, and Esoteric Soul Teachings. She taught multiple courses at SWIHA, in Tempe Arizona for 21 years.

In the first mystery school Shenayda learned about the conception and nature of service to others. Through her studies she became aware of numerous belief systems. Through her spiritual counseling she assists others to heal these beliefs to find peace and wholeness.

Shenayda has taken groups on three spiritual journeys to Egypt and the ancient pyramids, to explore the very beginnings of spiritual teachings. While visiting the Temple of Hathor, Shenayda observed the astrological wheel on the ceiling indicating the origins of astrology.

Shenayda peacefully passed from her physical body on her 84th birthday on August 15, 2026.

She will be remembered and honored here at Yoga Phoenix as one of our beloved teachers. Shenayda left a library of recorded classes she presented over the years, and to honor her legacy of wisdom and teachings we will be posted this body of work soon.

Our intentions is to share her inspiration and wisdom of Astrology so she may continue to educate and uplift more people on their path and journey in this life.
