Sumr Soudi Breez

Sumr Soudi Breez is a certified Qigong/Tai Chi Easy

Sumr’s journey is a magical flow! She was introduced to yoga in 1977 while attending college. This was a stressful time ― she had no support from her parents and was working nights in print shop while attending classes during the day. Yoga saved her from a stressful life as she experienced the power of the breath, which releases stress by calming the mind and body.

Years later in 1994, the power of the breath was affirmed by birth of her first child. This knowledge and experience supported her through the amazing journey of home birthing both her children. Sumr let the breath birth the babies. The Spirit within filled her heart and mind to be present to the breath. God within along with her babies took care of the rest.

When Sumr remembered to get quiet in the midst of parental challenges, Spirit would remind her to allow the vibration of sound to be voiced through her to the children. Sumr chanted to connect with inner peace, calming both her and the children. The thread of Yoga continued to wind through Sumr’s life filling her with awe as she began teaching and witnessing her students shift and transform through Kundalini Yoga.

Her teaching has expanded to working with the senior population, military veterans, children of all ages, and those with special needs. She is a caring, inspiring and compassionate teacher who has taught ages 5 to 101.

She teaches that the value of Yoga is in Breath, Movement and Chanting (vibration). In fear we go into fight or flight where we react instead of respond. But the breath of yoga put us in a place of existence not based on panic or fight or flight.

Sumr continues to encourage students and clients to “Tune into your Breath and uplift your Being!”
