Cat Regan
Yoga Instructor
Cathie was first introduced to yoga in at age 15, and found yoga to be very transforming. Yoga soon became a regular practice that helped her stay healthier, more grounded and calmer in a world that was quickly changing and full of turmoil.
In 2000 Cathie was inspired to become a yoga instructor after volunteering to share yoga with students at her children’s elementary school. Once certified as a Hatha Yoga Instructor, she continued to teach yoga to kids in schools for another 15 years.
In 2002 Cathie trained in the Occupational Therapy Certification Program at Scottsdale Community College, where she received her 500-hour Yoga Therapy Certification.
In 2010, she received a Level 1 certification for Kundalini Yoga from Yoga Phoenix, where she taught for 10 years.
Cathie also taught Yoga for Health and Wellness at Devonshire Senior Center for Phoenix Parks and Recreation for 14 years. In 2020 the pandemic shut down the center, so Cathie started teaching her students online and discovered that online yoga classes were a great option for most of her students. Since then, students from around the country have joined her online yoga classes.
Over the past 25 years, Cathie has received additional certifications in Kids Yoga, Chair Yoga, Yin and Restorative Yoga, as well as continued education and trainings in Hatha, Kundalini, Level 2, and Yoga Therapy.
Cathie brings an open and light-hearted energy to her classes and hopes to inspire her students to discover the transforming effects of a personal yoga practice.
Being a mother of three and blessed with nine grandchildren, Cathie’s philosophy is to live each day with an open heart, to be kind, adventurous and grateful for all that is.
